Location: Redmond, WA


Responsibilities:


  • Lead project to deliver result about innovation in preparative and purification method for high quality product development in RNA biology related R&D field.
  • Design and engineer new RNA products based on in vitro transcription method.
  • Optimize RNA constructs and test new designs for its function.
  • Manage project timeline and leverage internal resources to push projects forward.
  • Generate, interpret and present data to project team.
  • Maintain an up-to-date accurate lab notebook records of performed studies.
  • Monitors supply inventory and identifies any products required.
  • Maintains work area, equipment, department and all storage areas in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
  • Perform other duties as needed.


Qualifications



  • Direct experience with nucleic acid design, synthesis, and assessment in tissue culture or animal models with a robust technical skill set to math.
  • Strong collaborative instinct with good time and resource management skills
  • Broad molecular biology knowledge with the ability to apply engineering principles to solve problems.
  • Works collaboratively with team members to support each other
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A sense of humility and an eagerness to continue to learn and contribute to a supportive team
  • PhD's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical science or related field.
  • >2 years of relevant experience in molecular biology, cellular biology, biochemistry, or related discipline in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
