The Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing our software systems and technical projects, including SharePoint, storage solutions, and other Microsoft products. The ideal candidate will be highly meticulous, proactive, and skilled in overseeing complex IT projects and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee IT projects including the configuration of company systems like CMiC, Salesforce, and our corporate website.
- Organize, manage, and maintain company software, hardware, and information security systems, assisting where necessary to ensure smooth operations.
- Spearhead technical projects to support and enhance the company's use of SharePoint, storage solutions, and other Microsoft products.
- Management of IT systems and software which support the Company’s project management services in the Construction Industry (i.e. the Technical Project Manager)
- Administer and maintain computer systems, software licenses, user roles, and access controls to ensure secure and efficient technology use.
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and setup for new hires in collaboration with the Employee Outreach Department.
- Oversee the setup of IT infrastructure for job sites and offices, including installation of computers, mobile devices, and software.
- Maintain and update databases for login credentials and asset tracking, ensuring all IT systems operate efficiently.
- Provide user support via company project management software to resolve IT issues promptly.
- Educate users on company software and maintain essential hardware such as printers to ensure functionality and accessibility.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CMiC, and other company-specific software.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, identifying vulnerabilities, and enhancing productivity and efficiency in IT operations.
- In-depth knowledge of operating systems, security tools, applications, and both hardware and software management.
- Ability to research, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies into existing systems.
- Experience in security or system administration, with a strong understanding of disaster recovery planning, data backups, and cost-benefit analysis for IT upgrades.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience in an IT environment, with a proven track record of improving system reliability and performance.
