Job Summary:

Epitec is seeking a Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst who will be responsible for all points of data extraction, manipulation, reporting and analysis. This Analyst is accountable for daily, weekly and monthly creation, analysis and reporting of key performance indicators related to warehouse operational metrics.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments, high proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, Access, PowerPoint, and BI Tools, and proficiency in SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; on-site in Santa Ana, CA
  • Pay Rate: $42 - 46/hourly with optional benefits plans


Job Responsibilities:

  • Position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent and accurate approach to reporting.
  • Address and resolve various warehouse-related requests and issues from 3PL partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must in that this position will produce KPI’s to be shared with senior level management as well as the headquarters team.
  • Extract, analyze, and manage data related to WMS transactions.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in WMS transactions, ensuring thorough understanding and accurate problem-solving.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for warehouse resources, offering advanced support and solutions.
  • Reporting can also be used to set the priorities throughout the operations, ensuring that key issues are addressed.
  • Collaborate with PMO and operations teams to oversee and support operational projects and initiatives.
  • Daily/weekly briefings and communications are needed to ensure consistent information is shared throughout the operations.
  • This position is a task-oriented role, requiring very good organizational skills and follow through.
  • The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found.
  • This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the logistics warehouse and transportation operations & cost.
  • This position is also responsible for supporting improvement opportunities throughout the organization, for monitoring discrepancies and escalating to appropriate parties.
  • In order to meet daily responsibilities, the candidate must be proficient with SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint; must have experience developing dashboards using BI Tools.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in report writing, logistics, space planning, cost analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators.
  • Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects.
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, Python, Access, PowerPoint, SQL, and BI Tools.
  • Experience in a logistics supply chain (operations) environment preferred.
  • Experience with SAP required.
