Job Description

We are seeking a Business Process Architect to play a critical role in analyzing, optimizing, and re-imagining workflows while integrating Generative AI (Gen AI) tools into operations. This position focuses on building a bold vision for future-state processes, driving transformational change, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of innovation and practicality, with expertise in Gen AI technologies and business process optimization.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline workflows, develop ROI models, and craft compelling business cases for integrating AI-driven tools. You will be instrumental in identifying process improvement opportunities, driving measurable outcomes, and building scalable, efficient systems that align with the company’s strategic objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Current State Analysis:
  • Analyze and document current workflows to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and dependencies.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to quantify resource allocation and establish baselines.
  • Process Re-Engineering and Optimization:
  • Develop detailed process maps outlining workflows, decision points, and handoffs.
  • Use methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to challenge the status quo and reimagine roles.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities through Gen AI tools.
  • Gen AI Tool Integration:
  • Research and evaluate Gen AI tools for specific business needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
  • Conduct hands-on testing of Gen AI technologies to assess their viability and scalability.
  • ROI Analysis and Business Case Development:
  • Create ROI models that quantify cost savings and productivity improvements.
  • Develop and present compelling business cases to secure executive buy-in for Gen AI initiatives.
  • Strategic Vision:
  • Work with leadership and stakeholders to define a bold future-state vision leveraging AI-driven process enhancements.
  • Champion innovation and align process optimization initiatives with organizational goals.


Required Experience/Skills

  • 8+ years of experience in business process analysis, improvement, or re-engineering.
  • Proven success in leading process improvement projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in Gen AI technologies and their applications to business processes.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools, methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Nice-to-Haves

  • Background in software systems or coding fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with time and motion studies.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments such as technology or SaaS industries.


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
