Our client, one of the largest Energy companies in the US providing a wide range of Energy-related products and services to its customers, seeks an accomplished Medical Administrative Assistant.


** TITLE: Medical Administrative Assistant


** LOCATION: Hybrid role @ 1 Blue Hill Plaza Pearl River, NY 10965


** DURATION: 8 Month Contract with possible extension


*** WORK SCHEDULE: 8:30am - 4:00pm


Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. - $27.00/hr. W2 (depending upon experience)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Looking for candidates with people skills and medical knowledge to add value to the services they provide employees.
  • Candidates will join an integrated team of NP, Nurse, and Dietician staff, who deliver customer-focused care to over 1,500 employees.
  • The Employee Wellness Center (EWC) provides a combination of wellness evaluations, regulatory examinations, sick determinations, and safety-sensitive assessments.
  • Dynamic team player able to manage several projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Assistance with responding to calls related to Sick absences (VRU)
  • For both new and experienced medical technicians on-the-job training is available.
  • Mostly Administrative / Date Entry Work


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School diploma.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical records (Cority)
  • Able to use computer programs including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Experience with safeguarding health and sensitive data information
  • Ability to work with Nurse Case Managers and be cross trained to assist scheduling appointments and covering employee wellness dl/ email box.
