Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate effective communication with vendors, finance teams, plant sites, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.
  • Manage the review and approval of purchase orders in the ERP system (NetSuite) and oversee vendor management activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with functional stakeholders to gather feedback on sourcing and vendor performance.
  • Conduct thorough research on supply markets and competitive activities to provide insights within assigned spend categories.
  • Participate in vendor relationship management, including performance evaluations and improvement strategy implementations.
  • Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and proactively resolve potential issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimize spending based on demand forecasts and material lead times.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new suppliers and materials, ensuring seamless ordering processes.
  • Assist in maintaining the vendor management database and contribute as a shared resource within the procurement team.
  • Adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.


Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, with experience in NetSuite being a plus.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Highly motivated and self-directed, demonstrating resourcefulness and sound judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build relationships at various organizational levels.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities and a commitment to professionalism and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and adapt to changing demands.
