We seek your experience and are expanding our Detailer/Drafting team based on multiple, complex and challenging projects recently awarded.

JOB SCOPE

Our Detailer/Drafting team create the technical shop drawings for the manufacturing and fabrication of our multi-million-dollar, multi-year projects. You will be a contributing member of our Detailing team on projects that have among the highest number of visitors within the museum industry.

Experience of a minimum of 5+ years is required based on project complexity in exhibit fabrication, architectural millwork, high end cabinetry, or interior build.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE POSITON

• Either experience in AutoCAD background (2 dimensional shop drawings) AND/OR AutoDesk Inventor experience in 3 dimensional models and shop drawings synthesized from design and engineering documents, including architectural, structural and MLP.
• Knowledge of Bills of Material and material properties.
• Strong drafting skills.
• Ability and interest to work creatively and independently to engage in self-directed product research and provide workable solutions to highly imaginative design challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration, building relationships with colleagues.
• Hands on experience with fabrication techniques, equipment, and processes a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

BS Degree in Engineering or Technology OR Trade School or Associate’s Degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience. Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
