Our client, a gaming/entertainment company, is seeking a Data Privacy Analyst to support its compliance initiatives related primarily to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as other privacy regulations and requirements.


6-12 month project


100% REMOTE


This role will primarily support data mapping efforts.


Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with asset and processing activity owners to collect, maintain, and update information, in data maps, on assets, systems and business activities that process player and/or worker data.
  2. Manage online data mapping tool (OneTrust) to ensure accuracy and integrity of all data entered, and run reports, as needed.
  3. Implement, with assistance from external partner (TrustArc), cookie consent managers on certain websites, and assist with quarterly and periodic cookie tracker audits.
  4. Assist in the creation and maintenance of templates, procedures, and process documentation.
  5. Promote best practices, streamlining data processes, and increasing efficiencies.
  6. Keep detailed reports of progress to keep manager/team members apprised of and aligned with status and timelines. Meet with manager regularly to discuss status.


Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Performed as a business analyst or paralegal.
  3. Prior experience in privacy, with a working knowledge of GDPR or other global privacy laws is a plus.
  4. Experience with data mapping (e.g., OneTrust), or other privacy compliance tools.
  5. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  6. Ability to work independently to drive results by following up with stakeholders and escalating complexities.
  7. Strong ability to work collaboratively and partner with stakeholders.
  8. Exercises good judgment to recognize and report red flags and/or risks to completion, to manager.
  9. Self-motivated, positive attitude, takes initiative, team player.
  10. Resourceful, fast learner, critical thinker, and detail oriented.
  11. Capable of working with discretion in an environment exposed to a high level of proprietary and confidential information.
