Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ (hybrid)

Salary: $70,000


Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and/or monthly payroll cycles accurately and on time.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and withholdings.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions.
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management and other departments as needed.
  • Reconcile payroll transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and best practices.
  • Assist with payroll audits and provide documentation as required.
  • Process and administer employee benefits, such as insurance and retirement plan deductions.
  • Generate payroll-related reports for management and auditors as needed.
  • Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience processing payroll.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll procedures and regulations.
  • Experience with ADP and Excel required.
  • Payroll taxes experience required.
  • Multi-state payroll.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
