Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and eager to learn attorney to join our dynamic team in Clayton, MO. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take on challenging cases and develop your skills as a trial attorney. As a member of The Meador Law Firm, LLC, you will be deeply involved in representing clients, crafting legal strategies, and advocating for their interests in the courtroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation in diverse practice areas including personal injury, civil litigation, eviction proceedings, criminal defense, corporate litigation, and landlord representation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft comprehensive legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
- Prepare and present cases in court with opportunities for significant courtroom experience, including conducting depositions, cross-examinations, and trials.
- Manage a varied caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service and communication.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and delivering effective legal solutions.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members to refine case strategies and enhance firm operations.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and changes in relevant laws to provide the best representation possible.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Missouri State Bar and in good standing.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to high ethical standards and a client-centered approach.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving abilities.
