Trustpoint.One has partnered with a small boutique personal injury firm in Northern Kentucky that is seeking a Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience - preferably in plaintiff's personal injury litigation. KY bar license is required. OH bar license or UBE a plus. This is a great firm that offers their attorneys a meaningful work life balance, hybrid schedule and no billable hours.


Job Responsibilities of the Litigation Associate:

  • Draft legal documents, formal discovery requests, formal discovery responses, notices, interrogatories, motions, memoranda, deposition summaries, medical record summaries, and letters.
  • Proofreading, Review, and Editing.
  • Prepare for, and attend, hearings and depositions.
  • Understand, summarize, and utilize medical records. While attorneys are rarely responsible for requesting medical records, attorneys are expected to read and know how to summarize medical records. Further, because medical records and billing are the backbone of any injury case, attorneys must know how to use the medical records to prove damages and/or coverage in their given practice area.
  • Preparation for trial. The attorney must be trial ready, and know how to create exhibit binders, trial notebooks, deposition summaries, motions in limine, and other documents necessary to conduct a trial to a jury or to the bench. Attorneys must also be able to prepare for, and to conduct, voir dire, opening statements, direct and cross examination, and closing arguments. It is acceptable for attorneys to rely upon co-counsel or “second chair” attorneys to assist in mastery of these skills.
  • Preparation for Final Hearings and Final Briefings.
  • The attorney may perform other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description, but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.


All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
