Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/PM Functional Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in the successful implementation of S/4HANA for a key client in Atlanta. This position focuses on the Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules, ensuring optimal configurations and seamless integration to meet the client’s manufacturing and maintenance needs.

As a functional expert, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering end-to-end SAP solutions specific to the production planning and plant maintenance processes. The role requires an experienced professional who can work in a hybrid environment, with some onsite presence required in Atlanta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA focusing on PP (Production Planning) and PM (Plant Maintenance) modules.
  • Work closely with business users and stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements.
  • Perform gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions to align with business needs.
  • Configure SAP PP and PM modules to support manufacturing and plant maintenance processes.
  • Develop and execute test cases, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the system.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on PP/PM processes such as production planning, preventive maintenance, work orders, capacity planning, and production scheduling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP PP/PM with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, QM, SD).
  • Support data migration activities and provide training and documentation for end-users.
  • Resolve functional issues and provide ongoing support during project lifecycles.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with a focus on PP and PM modules.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations with a deep understanding of best practices for PP and PM.
  • Strong expertise in configuring and customizing the Production Planning and Plant Maintenance processes.
  • Proven ability to conduct gap analysis, develop solutions, and align SAP functionality with business requirements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and maintenance processes in industries such as automotive, industrial, or utilities.
  • Experience with system integration across SAP modules (e.g., MM, QM, SD).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with multiple S/4HANA full lifecycle implementations.
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps for PP/PM processes.
  • Exposure to Agile or other project delivery methodologies.
  • Prior experience in a hybrid work environment.
