About the Practice: The Finance practice group is known for representing administrative agents, lenders, and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions, including club and broadly syndicated credit facilities, acquisition financings, and private credit facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Representing administrative agents, lenders, and borrowers in complex financing transactions
  • Negotiating and drafting credit agreements, debt commitment letters, term sheets, security agreements, and closing deliverables, including secretary’s certificates, resolutions, legal opinions, schedules, and exhibits
  • Managing deals, interacting with clients, and ensuring high-quality work product
  • Providing legal counsel to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies (preferred)


Qualifications:

  • 4 to 6 years of experience in finance law, with substantial experience in credit facilities and acquisition financings
  • Strong academic background with superior drafting skills
  • Admission to one or more state bars (prior admission to the Texas Bar is a plus)
  • Diligent, proactive, supportive, and team-oriented approach
  • Willingness to take on significant responsibility for deal management and client interaction
