Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Criminal Defense Attorney at Thomas Daly Law, located in Walnut Creek, CA. The Criminal Defense Attorney will be responsible for representing clients in criminal defense cases, conducting legal research and analysis, drafting legal documents and briefs, negotiating with prosecutors, and presenting cases in court. Some remote work is acceptable.
The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, willing to fight for clients, and able to effectively manage a full time caseload.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar
- Preferred but not required: experience in criminal defense law, with a strong understanding of criminal law and court procedures
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
