Hamilton, United States ODW Logistics Full time

This position plays a pivotal role in sourcing optimal carrier solutions for transportation requirements within designated domestic regions across the United States for our customers. Reporting directly to the Brokerage - Region Leader, this role will collaborate within the Regional Team framework to ensure ODW Logistics effectively meets the demands of both customers and carriers, fostering successful partnerships and operational excellence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Analyze historical data to maximize short- and long-term profitability by covering freight at optimal profit levels
  • Accurately measure count and percentage of loads covered and given back to ensure business performs within goal rate
  • Provide assistance in spot carrier onboarding as requested by the regional leader
  • Proactively draft coverage plans for freight days
  • Aid in carrier recruitment and foster existing relationships with carriers
  • Become a subject matter expert (SME) for your assigned region and maintain effective communication with carriers
  • Compare and communicate market trends and pricing
  • All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1+ year(s) of supply chain industry experience preferred
  • Previous knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Terminal Services and Virtual/Thin client architecture preferred
