As one of the fastest-growing warehousing and logistics companies in North America, we’re looking for an experienced HUMAN RESOURCES SUPERVISOR onsite in our Duncan, SC location.

As the Human Resources Supervisor, you will be in a highly visible position that will have a significant impact on the performance and profitability of the business. You will support hourly team members and salaried/ hourly management/supervisory individuals encompassing a diverse range of disciplines. This role requires expertise in a broad range of HR functions including recruitment and selection, talent management, compensation and benefits, health and safety, training and development, change management, and employee/labor relations.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HR Partner with the business supporting HR priorities and Employee engagement on a shift
  • Initiated and complete daily, weekly and monthly HR assignments
  • Oversee and lead all aspects of on-site Orientation and Training for all new hires.
  • Data Entry for new hires in HRIS
  • Time cards audits for shift
  • Contract conversions
  • Work on initiatives to promote a positive and engaging environment
  • Labor and employee relations to include employee investigations and resolutions
  • Understand and administer company policies in accordance to Federal, State and Local guidelines. Example progressive discipline.
  • Appropriate handling of all employee records and materials in a secure and confidential manner and ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all employee information
  • Point of contact for employee to answers employee’s questions and address concerns
  • Leave of Absence administration
  • Assist employee with benefit enrollment
  • Work independently with minimal oversight and effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.
  • Enforce company policies and corresponding standardized work instructions, at times may also have to update standardized work instructions.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of three (+) years’ experience in manufacturing or related
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related HR field, MBA or MA strongly preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience. PHR or SPHR preferred.
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills
  • HRIS experience required
  • Knowledge of State and Federal laws.
  • The ideal candidate is focused on building culture, taking initiative, results oriented and drives to excel and exceed expectations
  • Versatility, flexibility, and ability to work within constantly changing priorities with positivity.
  • Effective communication skills
