Venteon Finance is hiring a Procurement Specialist to support a 2 year construction project in Sumter,NC. Assist the company in the building, setting up and maintaining a new manufacturing plant by facilitating orders for building supplies and capital equipment. Assist in fleet management.


POSITION TYPE: Full time, onsite, 6 month Contract-to-Hire PAY: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour


Requirements of the Project Procurement Specialist:

Bachelor degree highly desired. Not required.

Previous work experience in purchasing/procurement for manufacturing or industrial company.

Knowledge or exposure to capital equipment purchasing a plus. Knowledge or exposure with fleet management a major plus.

Strong capability in managing multiple projects and priorities.

Able to effectively coordinate with project managers and suppliers.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers to understand project-specific procurement needs and timelines.
  • Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and conditions, and secure necessary approvals.
  • Issue purchase orders and manage procurement documentation in compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports on procurement status.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to procurement delays, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all procurement activities.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or project schedules.
  • Coordinate fleet management to ensure timely procurement and maintenance of vehicles and equipment required for project execution.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
