What You Need:

  • HSD or GED, with at least three years of experience as an avionics Technician in an installation/modification facility.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents like schematics, installation drawings, and FAA regulations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, internet software, and database/inventory systems.


What Your Role Will Look Like:

As an Avionics Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of aircraft by installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining avionics systems. You’ll interpret technical schematics, perform inspections, and diagnose malfunctions in electrical and avionics components to maintain airworthiness. This position involves hands-on work to test and adjust systems, document repairs, and occasionally support flight crews with in-flight adjustments. Your expertise in following FAA regulations and commitment to precision will directly contribute to the reliability and safety of our fleet.

  • Install and Test: Interpret and install avionics systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and system testing to meet FAA standards,
  • Troubleshoot and Repair: Diagnose issues in avionics and electrical systems, conduct performance tests, and analyze results to determine necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Flight and Field Support: Accompany flight crew for in-flight testing as needed and document post-flight repairs.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to FAA, OSHA, and company safety standards using calibrated tools and protective equipment.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete all necessary reports, forms, and checklists per FAA and company requirements.
