What You Need:

  • HSD or GED, with at least three years of experience as an interiors technician in an installations/modifications facility.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents like schematics, installation drawings, and FAA regulations.
  • Knowledge of pattern lay-us, cutting techniques, and material processing
  • Familiarity with industry cleaning agents, adhesives, and decorative finish materials.


What Your Role Will Look Like:

The Interiors Technician is responsible for the removal and installation of cabin componenets to support maintenance and modifications in compliance with FAA standards. This role involves inspecting cabin interiors, documenting and addressing discrepancies, and ensuring adherence to technical drawings and specifications. The technician must have exptertise in handling various materials, including pattern lay-ups, adhesives, and decorative finishes, and be knowledgeable about industry-standard cleaning agents. In addition to ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately, the interiors technician is expected to collaborate with colleagues across departments, complete required documentation, and support the team in achieving company goals while following OSHA and FAA regulations.

  • Cabin Component Installation and Removal: Remove and install interior components as needed for maintenance and modifications, following techncial documentation.
  • Inspection and Documentation: Inspect cabin interiors for discrepancies, document issues, and work with appropriate teams to resolve them.
  • Material Handling and Finishing: Utilize pattern lay-ups, adhesives, and finish materials, ensuring all installations meet industry standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, using required safety equipment, and comply ith OSHA, FAA, and company regulations.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work with other team members and departments to complete tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve company objectives.
