Job Summary:

As a Commercial Loan Closer, you will be responsible for managing the closing process for term and bridge loans. Your primary duties will involve coordinating with title/escrow, property insurance, attorneys, underwriting team and the borrower, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately prepared and executed, and facilitating the timely funding of loans.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

·      Documentation: For advances on Bridge Lines of Credit, prepare, review and send to title/escrow all advance related documents. Work with legal counsel on all other products to help facilitate completion of required documentation and signatures packets.

·      Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including underwriters, attorneys, title companies, insurance carriers, vendors and borrowers, to gather necessary information and documentation for loan closing.

·      Review and Compliance: Review loan files to ensure completeness and accuracy, verifying that all necessary documentation are included and comply with lending guidelines.

·      Closing Process Management: Manage the closing process from start to finish, ensuring all parties are informed of their responsibilities and deadlines are met to facilitate timely loan closings.

·      Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for all parties involved in the closing process, providing updates, answering questions, and resolving any issues that may arise to ensure a positive customer experience.

·      Funding and Disbursement: Coordinate with accounting to ensure loans are funded accurately and disbursed by title/escrow.

·      Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all loan closing activities, including documentation, correspondence, and communication with stakeholders, in accordance with company policies.

·      Work with Post Closing to resolve any documentation errors or issues that may come up.

·      Prior experience in reviewing commercial and residential real estate contracts and other property related documentation

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

At least two years’ related experience required.
