Grit & Gravel works with clients across the US as a fractional marketing, branding, and advertising department for their businesses. We work in many industries, including construction, manufacturing, senior living/healthcare, higher education, corrections, and tech. We are looking for a designer to add to our creative team who will work alongside our in-house Art Director, Videographers, and Content Marketers to bring the highest creative design to our projects.


The ideal candidate must have strong creative skills in elevating client and team creative visions and bringing those to reality in a high-speed and collaborative work environment through clear and consistent communication. We are looking for a portfolio of work demonstrating the ideal candidate's passion and expertise for memorable and timeless brand development, high-end corporate design, & modern typography usage. The ideal candidate should excel in working with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, & Figma to create designs to be used in digital and print formats. Additionally, an ideal candidate would have video design experience, specifically using post-production tools like After Effects, and would be asked to work with our video team to assist in on-screen text, logo reveals, and overall video design composition.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the creative team at G&G to ensure the quality and consistency of designs across various media outlets.
  • Areas of design expertise needed are: advertising (digital and print), social media, UX/UI (web), email, print collateral, brand development.
  • Maintain awareness of industry and design standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma
  • Highly organized
  • Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
  • A portfolio of work must be included with the application to be considered.
