Product Lead, ORV Accessories

CFMOTO is seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Lead - Parts, Garments & Accessories (PG&A) to join our accessories product team. The Product Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of our Off Road Vehicles (ORV) accessories product roadmap, focusing on delivering cutting-edge solutions for existing and new product lines. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize features, and guide the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Product Development
- Responsible for product line management from “cradle to grave”; tracks product performance and oversees product throughout the product lifecycle
- Determines and documents project scope to meet market demands and communicates market needs to engineering department
- Gathers and analyzes market competition and research data / benchmarking to create products to match and surpass current industry standards
- Identifies customer solutions, consumer insights and voice of customer (VOC) through event attendance, dealer visits, surveys, and data collection
- Researches and identifies “white space” opportunities to ensure new segment growth
- Develops business cases, monitors business results, takes appropriate actions to ensure business case is met
Project Management
- Leads accessory projects within ORV accessory product line
- Fits and tests accessories as required
- Provides feedback to suppliers and parent company, CFMOTO China
- Provides design and directional feedback throughout projects
- Assists with projects across the parts, garments & accessories department
- Tests samples and researches a product's effectiveness and impact
- Manages the health and performance of new product development projects / teams to ensure on-time launch
Portfolio Management
- Monitors quality and warranty and delivers needed information for product updates and changes to engineering staff
- Defines product strategy / product vision / product roadmap and product positioning for accessories division
- Define accessories pricing strategy / assign pricing to focus on increasing product profitability
Marketing Activities (Go-To-Market)
- Plans and executes product marketing and promotion strategies
- Prepares go to market materials in collaboration with marketing team
- Creates sales programs and releases marketing materials to dealers / sales team
- Prepares dealer show market materials, develops displays and works with supply base to attend shows
Qualifications
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 2-5 years’ previous experience in similar role within the Powersports, Automotive or retail-based industry
- Proven track record of successfully bringing customer products to market
- Project Management experience
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and knowledge of manufacturing / assembly processes
- Must be able to collaborate with multiple teams
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and proficient with Word and Outlook
- Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
- Strong customer focus and service orientation with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, dealers/customers and suppliers at all levels in a cross-cultural setting
Education & Experience Preferred
- 3-7 years’ previous experience in similar role
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or similar experience

Additional information
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the US
- Flexible work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8 am – 8 pm; ability to work required hours; connect with international team members
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment
- Required sitting and computer-related activities for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Equipment operation requires specialized training and testing within CFMOTO standards
- Travel up to 25%; international travel required.
