Our Client is seeking an Inspection professional with experience in tank-related inspections. The primary responsibility of the Tank Inspector is to perform onsite evaluations of customer’s tank assets, develop and communicate written reports, work with estimators, construction professionals, project management and outside sales.


  • $75-85K base salary (BOE)
  • Remote, heavy travel (75-90%), typically home on weekends
  • Full suite of benefits, 401K


Key Responsibilities:


  • Perform onsite tank evaluations for customers.
  • Develop written reports on observations and repair recommendations.
  • Work with estimators to develop labor and material estimates for recommended repairs.
  • Support project management on service projects.
  • Collaborate with other construction team members to execute service/maintenance jobs.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in general construction knowledge.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience inspecting bolted tanks or API 653 certification.
  • ROV experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare detailed sketches, layouts, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.


The position demands physical activity like climbing and working from elevated heights up to 150 feet; up to 90% travel (primarily domestic) may be required.
