Job Responsibilities

  • 3 Weeks Vacation, Lifestyle Bonus, 7.5% annual bonus
  • Assists corporate engineers in planning, design and write specifications for the purchase of heat treat furnaces and tooling or retrofitting of equipment
  • Manages capital projects to implement the inspection, installation, documentation and PPAP of heat treat equipment
  • Works closely with the maintenance organization to develop and/or maintain a detailed preventative maintenance program
  • Assist in communizing process and practices at all AAM sites
  • Work on new fixturing designs or coil designs and test for performance improvements


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, ME-Tech, or Metallurgy preferred)
  • Willingness and ability to travel 25%-50% U.S. and internationally
  • 3+ years of experience with heat treating processes and equipment
  • Proven experience working with Gas Carburizing, LPC Vac Carburizing and Induction process
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and supporting all heat treat processing throughout an organization
  • Automotive industry experience preferred
