An Immunologist or Neurologist required for a leading Boston, MA based biotech. This company has a varied portfolio clinical-stage assets that inhibit key drivers of disease or harness the immune system to eliminate diseased cells in autoimmune disease. Our portfolio encompasses a wide range of modalities, each with the potential to be best and/or first in class.


The company is proud to challenge conventional boundaries from candidate selection to differentiated therapeutic, applying rigorous go/no go criteria at each stage of development to fast-track only the most promising molecules to the clinic and, ultimately, commercialization.


Summary:

They seek an experienced and passionate clinical immunologist or neurologist to conduct clinical trials for autoimmune diseases. The ideal candidate will have a solid clinical immunologist or neurologist practice and clinical research background and a genuine interest in advancing novel treatments for patients with autoimmune diseases.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the clinical development strategy for the company assets in autoimmune disease indications.
  • Lead the design and implementation of clinical trials, overseeing all study aspects from protocol development to study completion.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) in clinical immunology or neurology practice and clinical research with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the biopharma industry.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design, execution, and regulatory requirements, with experience designing and conducting Phase 1-3 clinical trials.
  • Demonstrate expertise in autoimmune diseases, with a deep understanding of disease pathophysiology, treatment landscape, and clinical endpoints.


The company is looking for a physician scientist and clinical training in neurology and/or immunology is essential. This is a hybrid role ideally with some presence in the office in Boston but they will be very flexible with on site time.
