Job Responsibilities (Not ALL Required)
Design and deploy complex networks across multiple locations
- Familiarity with switching technologies such as spanning tree, VTP, VLANs
- Routing knowledge and concepts like OSPF, EIGRP & BGP
- Implementation and design of network infrastructure, security, and controls
- Knowledge of Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet a plus
Review and analyze security policies and provide necessary controls
- Network segmentation
- Perimeter security solutions (Fortinet, Cisco, ASA)
- Implementation and support of network security and controls
- PKI infrastructure knowledge
- Network access control with Cisco and Aruba a plus
Plan and implement migrations from different platforms and versions
- Email, SharePoint, cloud storage migrations to Microsoft 365
- Physical and virtual migrations to Azure, VMWare, and Hyper-V
- Windows Server version upgrades and migrations
- VDI solutions to VMWare Horizon and Azure
Setup and configure storage networks in various SAN environments
- Disaster Recovery solutions and testing
- Manage storage lifecycle and utilization
- iSCSI, SAS, and Fiber Channel connectivity
- Client facing communication and professional skills
- Pre-sales consulting and Scope of Work development
- Building relationships with key client stakeholders
- Mentoring junior engineers to encourage individual and team growth
- Influence technical vision and client roadmap
- Understanding and working within a budget
- Documentation of environments, implementation guides, HOWTOs
Qualifications We Prefer
- Minimum of 8 years’ hands-on experience in IT
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent certs/experience
- Reside in or near Little Rock, Arkansas
- Willingness to travel to client locations
- Ability to lift 25lbs
- At least 3 years in a customer facing role

- Ability to discuss IT projects with detail and on a non-technical level
- Deep experience or certifications that align with our tech stack (CCNA, ACSA, NSE, Azure, etc.)
