About the Company:

We are delighted to partner with an RNG developer/owner/operator who is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join their rapidly expanding team.


About the role

Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Maintenance Manager will be responsible for implementing maintenance schedules, managing budgets, fostering departmental collaboration, enhancing safety measures, and improving equipment reliability. The role includes supervising third-party activities, monitoring maintenance tasks, and working closely with Operations Managers to optimize site performance and image.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

Manage the maintenance budget with fiscal responsibility.

Promote collaboration across departments for seamless facility management.

Enforce and enhance safety standards.

Improve equipment reliability through innovative maintenance practices.

Administer preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Diagnose root causes of repetitive equipment failures using failure records.

Oversee daily activities of third-party contractors and coordinate outage planning.

Manage staffing, training, and qualification plans for the maintenance team.

Collaborate with the Operations Manager to identify and execute critical maintenance activities.

Drive plant improvement projects to enhance performance and reduce corrective maintenance needs.

Foster a positive community and environmental image for the plant.

Prepare reports for stakeholders and maintain accurate plant logs and records.

Review and update maintenance policies to align with operational goals and industry standards.

Ensure consistent, reliable attendance and availability in this role.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in maintenance management, with ethanol, chemical, oil & gas, or similar industrial experience highly valued.

Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge in power plant operations, systems, and equipment; proven ability to troubleshoot and implement maintenance best practices.

Leadership: Strong skills in team leadership, motivation, and development, with a focus on fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Maintenance Programs: Extensive experience in managing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, ideally in power plants or related industries.

Safety: Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations, with a history of promoting a strong safety culture.
