Position Overview

Vogelzang Law, a mid-sized plaintiff’s law firm in downtown Chicago, is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join our team. With a focus on Salesforce, the Junior Systems Administrator will support the Senior Business Analyst/Systems Administrator in maintaining optimal functionality of systems within the organization.


The position will support the building, implementation, and administration of new and current Salesforce functionality as well as generating documents and reports for all departments. The role also entails assisting in the integration of new applications and technologies into our current systems, as well as supporting IT with various in-office responsibilities.


This is a full-time, hybrid position with position with a competitive salary and benefits package.


Key Duties / Responsibilities

Systems Administrator

  • Set up new users and provide access to Salesforce. 
  • Train new users on Salesforce and other organizational system
  • Create reports and list views as needed.
  • Create, maintain, and streamline automated processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications/upgrades, and develop policies for data governance.
  • Provide technical support for any system and/or software issues that may arise.
  • Monitor the system daily and respond quickly to any security breaches or usability concerns.
  • Backup data and metadata and verify that backups have been completed.
  • Work closely with other department heads to understand internal technological desires and requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies that support streamlining workflows for all departments within the company.
  • Provide login credentials and training on user interface/systems processes for all systems such as Salesforce. Maintain all login credentials and passwords.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Information Technology

  • Work with IT to install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
  • Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
  • Respond to service issues and requests in a timely manner.
  • Manage recordkeeping of assets and inventory of technical equipment, such as hardware.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
  • One year of Salesforce administration experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning.
  • Experience with Salesforce Flow (how automations are run).
  •  Experience working with financial data imports/exports - Excel, Teams, Salesforce, QuickBooksOnline.
  • Experience with MS Teams/Office Suite.
  • Ability to make complex reports and dashboards for non-technical users.
  • Experience with third-party apps in Salesforce (installation, maintenance, troubleshooting) and app integration.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into data solutions, especially from a financial data management perspective.
  • Experience with custom objects.

Preferred

  • Experience with programming languages such as HTML.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification
