This role is a key leader that supports our global advertising and sales teams, clients, and the millions of people who use our media/ entertainment apps, across the world. We’re looking for a leader who is excited by building world-class advertising solutions centred around excellence, iteration, and innovation.


The Advertising Video Inventory Manager, Advertising Technology will be accountable for the delivery of all video advertising technology programs and projects that support key revenue generation functionalities within Canela Ad Sales. In this role, the candidate will combine delivery expertise with strong management skills and video ads technical knowledge to ensure consistent execution of our video ad product roadmap. Working closely with Video Engineering, Product, Commercial Operations and Advertising Technology teams, the candidate will manage execution and priorities to bring change in a dynamic environment.

A broad understanding of the streaming business and technology, as well as the software delivery and product development lifecycle, will be critical for this role.


Job Responsibilities


· Take accountability for the delivery of end-to-end video advertising technology solutions, ensuring all features, planning, execution, and accuracy are in place.

· Support troubleshooting of critical issues of video ad serving bugs with Ad Ops team, working closely with internal or external teams to provide resolution.

· Identify how technology can support revenue-generating initiatives and shape the video ad technology roadmap for Canela Ad Sales.

· Act as the internal Video Ad Product Manager, to ensure that the video ad products, roadmap, and pipeline are articulated, understood, and managed against delivery and capacity.

· Assisting the head of Ad Tech to build new and enhanced video ad products focused on revenue generation.

· Work with 3rd party vendors on SSPs account management needs.

· Work with Streaming OTT Platforms on app ad delivery and integrations.

· Assist on revenue generation reporting for Sales, Finance and Ad Ops.

· Ensure quality is present throughout delivery, building ad-hoc QA testing scenarios to ensure outputs are thoroughly tested and proven before deployment and handed over to Ad Ops.

· Ensure effective communication both internally and externally on Canela’s video ad technology infrastructure.

· As part of the Ad Technology team, strive for continuous improvement in our processes and procedures.

· Set clear goals and objectives. Act as the point of escalation, assist on troubleshooting and guidance throughout the execution.


What You Will Need


· 5+ years’ experience in managing a digital video ad technology ecosystem.

· Working experience with web debugging tools (i.e. Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Wireshark).

· Experience working with GAM and SpringServe (i.e. IMA SDK, PAL SDK, CTV, troubleshooting tools).

· In depth knowledge of Video Ad Serving Protocols (VAST, VPAID) and types of video ads.

· Solid understanding of the digital ad serving, programmatic, and measurement technology ecosystem (e.g. SSPs, DSPs, Header Bidding, DMPs, etc.).

· Ability to read, understand and troubleshoot VAST, HTML and Javascript, as well as build and troubleshoot ad tags for all platforms/ad types.
