Location: South Campus, Warren, MI
Reports to: Apparel and Supplies Manager
Position Summary: The Apparel and Supplies Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Apparel and Supplies Manager with operations and sales activities at the South Campus location. They will ensure that sales and profitability goals are met and provide excellent customer service through multiple sales channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform day-to-day operations of the South Campus location and implement action plans to improve operating results
• Protect company assets by ensuring compliance with inventory check-in and sales procedures, product handling guidelines, cash control policies, shrinkage avoidance, and safety and security protocols to minimize losses and support the profitability of the store
• Uphold positive working relationships with university officials, UGS partners, and third-party vendors
• Participate in pop-up sales events outside of the store
• Fulfill and ship online sales orders daily
• Maintain site operations and visual signage policies and procedures
• Guide part-time sales associates by creating daily task lists, training new staff members on POS processes, customer service and merchandising standards, and provide feedback to the store manager on attitude and performance.
• Provide product feedback to the store manager, including making recommendations regarding new items to carry or those that should be discontinued
• Maintain a safe and clean site environment in accordance with campus and UGS policies
• Availability for varied weekly shifts including during the week, occasional weekends, evening events and peak shifts hours required

Knowledge and Experience:
• 2+ years’ retail experience with increasing responsibilities
• Demonstrated technical expertise in point-of-sale (POS) systems and troubleshooting POS issues
• Product knowledge including apparel, hardgoods and tech accessories a plus
• Computer proficiency for product shipping and inventory adjustment purposes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams a plus

Pay:
$14.00 p/hr.
