What You’ll Do:


  • Complex Task Management: Oversee and manage intricate hardware tasks, including troubleshooting, retrofitting, and operating sophisticated lab equipment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead small teams on hardware development projects, ensuring quality control in assembly and documentation processes.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report data on project performance and progress to drive informed decisions.
  • Documentation Supervision: Generate and oversee the creation of training documents and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.


What We’re Looking For:


  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in mechanical and electrical roles, with 3 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in robotics is a plus ASE Mechanics strongly encouraged to apply
  • Skills: Strong technical proficiency in hardware and electrical systems, mechanical principles, and machining. Familiarity with software and coding is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with a structured approach.
  • Attention to Detail: Commitment to quality and precision in all aspects of work, particularly in assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Collaboration: Effective communication and teamwork skills, capable of working independently or within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced research environment.
