We’re hiring a Senior Scientist with a strong background in DNA/RNA or protein immunoassay development. This role offers opportunities for impactful discoveries in cancer detection while working collaboratively with top cancer institutions.


Role overview

This is a key role on our Assay Product Development team and your responsibility will be to drive the advancement of our proprietary nanotechnology multi-omics assay portfolio. You will be involved in all stages from development, optimization and validation.


Key responsibilities

●    Providing expertise in developing and optimizing immunoassays, including standard curves, controls, and validation.

●    Designing and conducting experiments to improve DNA/RNA and protein immunoassays for blood and urine testing.

●    Planning, performing, and documenting experiments following regulatory guidelines.

●    Using data analysis to troubleshoot, solve problems, and improve test performance.

●    Presenting clear and actionable results to teams and external partners.

●    Creating detailed documentation that meets regulatory standards.


About you

Must have:

●   Based on level of education: MS with eight (8+) years of experience or PhD with five (5+) years of experience as a scientist in clinical molecular diagnostic assays.

●   A work history that includes experience in diagnostics, biotechnology, and CRO environments.

●   Experience in developing and optimizing blood/urine-based immunoassays.

●   Experience with a wide range of bioconjugation techniques.

●   Expertise in creating validation plans for immunoassays that meet GLP standards.

●   Advanced knowledge of ligand binding immunoassays and analytical techniques, including ELISA, chemiluminescence, FRET/BRET, fluorescence, and bioluminescence assay development.

●   Proficiency in analytical and statistical methods such as Design of Experiments (DoE), ANOVA, and statistical software like JMP.

●   Experience working with human and animal tissues and biological fluids.


Nice to have:

●    Experience in biomarker discovery.

●    Experience conducting validation studies.

●    Proficiency with immunoassay platforms such as Meso Scale Discovery (MSD), ELISA, Gyros, or Quanterix.

●    Experience working in regulated environments, including GLP or CLIA.

●    A publication history in bioanalytical method validations, immunoassays, or molecular assays.

●    A proven track record of driving the development of new products or services related to immunoassay and PCR assays.

●    Background in nanotechnology.
