Lead E&I Reliability Engineer | Allied Resources Technical Consultants
About the Position:
Allied Resources is looking for a Lead E&I Reliability Engineer for a Leading Specialty Chemical Manufacturer based in the Greater Richmond Virginia area. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee preventative and predictive maintenance programs for E&I equipment and controls, ensuring equipment reliability and performance.
- Provide technical support and oversight for E&I activities, including Management of Change processes and capital projects from design to startup.
- Inspect new and repaired E&I equipment, recommend spare parts, and manage predictive monitoring, repairs, and PM inspections during plant shutdowns.
- Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) teams, analyze failures, recommend corrective actions, and implement reliability and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and maintain reliability control plans, perform Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA), and support ongoing asset risk management initiatives.
- Provide guidance on E&I equipment technology, plant standards, and updates to technical drawings while supporting hourly E&I technicians and contractors.
- Ensure safety compliance by actively participating in plant safety programs, maintaining knowledge of safety standards, and supporting adherence to Process Safety Management and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience as an E&I reliability engineer specializing in instrumentation and controls experience
