We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Siemens PLC programming and be proficient with various Siemens automation tools. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of control systems, hardware configuration, and software development within industrial environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain control systems using Siemens PLCs.
  • Program and configure Siemens PLCs using SIMATIC STEP 7 (Classic and TIA Portal).
  • Test and validate PLC programs using PLCSIM.
  • Manage and configure hardware using Simatic Manager.
  • Write complex control algorithms using SCL (Structured Control Language).
  • Configure and integrate Profinet devices using GSDML.
  • Design and commission process control systems using PCS 7.
  • Configure and commission Siemens drives using Drive ES.
  • Perform virtual commissioning and system simulations using SIMIT.
  • Utilize ProDiag for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement control solutions in various industrial processes.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Siemens PLC programming and control systems.


  • Proficiency in SIMATIC STEP 7 (Classic and TIA Portal).
  • Skilled in using PLCSIM for program testing and validation.
  • Competent in using Simatic Manager for hardware configuration.
  • Advanced knowledge of SCL for complex control algorithms.
  • Experience with GSDML for Profinet device configuration.
  • Proficient in PCS 7 for process control systems.
  • Experience with Drive ES for drive configuration and commissioning.
  • Familiarity with SIMIT for virtual commissioning and system simulation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical team members.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive industry or other relevant industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in industrial automation.
