Job Title: Associate Quality Engineer

Work Location: Middletown, CT

Shift: 2nd shift M-F.


Work Experience: Minimum 9+ years relevant to role and 2-year tech degree OR 15+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree. Candidates with substantially more prior experience and responsibilities may fit under related progression roles – and are welcome to apply.


Industry: Aero-Engine (i.e. gas turbine / turbomachinery)


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Primarily gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part/process quality are achieved and sustained. Efforts support/conveyed to others. Initial work focused on supporting the processing of Non-Conforming material to procedure in a regulated industry.
  • Comfortable interacting w/ multiple computer systems / software
  • Have an aptitude for process-oriented work along with a mindset for doing things right, a desire to see things through, an eye for continuous improvement. A history of doing so successfully in a customer facing, service-oriented, environment
  • Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers
  • Assist w/ new hire training / mentoring of like roles
  • Assist w/ review of other’s work
  • Maintain Integrity & Ethics in all situations
  • Generate Continuous Improvement ideas to reduce Waste and Cost of Poor Quality
  • Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career



Work Experience


Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes:

  • Relevant experience in: Quality Management System, Part Qualification (QA), Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).
  • Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook – advanced user (macros, pivot tables, VB Coding – noteworthy)
  • Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system (SAP preferred)
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and organized - with ability to focus on semi-repetitive tasks


Desired Skills / Attributes:

  • Knowledge of gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO
  • Read Engineering prints and comprehend associated Quality Requirements
  • Gaging experience (manual, visual, computer based, Inspection Planning, SPC, Gage R&R, etc)
  • Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments
