An average day:

Administrative Tech 2 (Asset Data Reconciliation) - The Contractor shall:

  • Collaborate with the Hardware Asset Management team and the process owner to enhance the accuracy, currency, completeness, and quality of asset and inventory data in the HP Asset Manager database.
  • Ensure that all necessary updates related to Asset Management IMPs are reflected in ServiceNow and that there's consistency between IMPs and HP Asset Manager.
  • Work with the Hardware Asset Management team to create a strategy to identify and address uncontrolled IT equipment for physical inventory verification.
  • Lead a team of Contractor technicians to conduct targeted physical inventories at specified locations, verifying, confirming, and correcting asset data discrepancies in HP Asset Manager to enhance asset details like location, assigned user, and status.
  • Perform data reconciliation and normalization in HP Asset Manager.
  • Organize and document data using structured and normalized open format methods for easy use, including functions like querying, datamining, indexing, categorization, search, crawl, and reporting.
  • Ensure data quality and accuracy, address missing files or information, conduct data cleansing, and monitor changes in provided data.
  • Prepare and present reports, conclusions, and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Access for data analysis and reporting, summarizing data perfection activities and statuses.

Basic Qualifications:

  • This program requires US Citizenship or Green Card (Lawful Permanent Residents).
  • Must have, no less than, 1-2 years recent (within the last 3 years) experience in a similar position.
  • Hands-on experience with other common software and hardware
  • Excellent customer service skills

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust
  • Local travel may be required.
