The Company

Our client is a fast growing site network that currently has over 20 sites and constantly expanding They focus on diversity in their trials including therapeutic areas: cardiology, metabolic disorders, renal, CNS, pulmonology, and vaccines. Their sites conduct studies spanning Phases I-IV and they've been awarded for excellence in recruitment and recognized in the industry for retention, a best-in-class experience for patients and sponsors.


Responsibilities

As a Clinical Research Lab Technician, you will be responsible for working with the clinical research team including Coordinators, Assistants, Sub-Is, and PIs, on understanding research protocols, performing specimen collection and processing, and ensuring the research lab is prepared.


  • Read, understand, and follow instruction manuals and sponsor protocols
  • Obtain, process, and ship laboratory specimens using good laboratory technique and following OSHA and IATA regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and protocol issues
  • Promptly report any adverse events or laboratory incidents to management that occur with patients when obtaining or processing lab specimens
  • Always ensure availability of appropriate amounts of laboratory supplies
  • Escalate appropriate questions and problems to leadership, be a strong team player


Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience working in a Lab Setting
  • 1+ year of experience performing blood draws/phlebotomy


Great if you have it:

  • Experience in a clinical research lab or hospital lab
