Salary Range: $75,000 to $125,000 depending on experience

Purpose:

Define, manage, and enhance the dealership image and brand in the market. Lead efforts to better understand, attract, and retain customers. Develop and manage marketing tactics to promote the dealership’s products and services through targeted efforts


Responsibilities:

·       Leads the development and implementation of a marketing plan and annual calendar

·       Leads the development and implementation of a merchandising and display strategy

·       Leads the development of a brand strategy including the development, implementation and enhancement of

the dealer brand

·       Owns all social media channels and works on effective development of each

·       Implements the dealership’s marketing strategies by leveraging resources aligned with the dealership’s values,

mission, and goals

·       Leads the development, communication, and assessment of marketing tactics (e.g. advertising, promotions,

incentives, events, etc.) that reach targeted prospects

·       Responsible for the development of our customer databases.

·       Monitors market trends and may also utilize customer insight technologies such as Customer Relationship

Management (CRM) applications to gain deeper customer understanding

·       Defines customer segments and determines how to pursue segments through targeted solutions and services

required

·       Defines and manages the customer experience process (e.g. customer focus groups, customer satisfaction

surveys, etc.)

·       Defines and manages advertising budget; develop monthly, quarterly, and annual advertising activities (e.g. TV,

radio, newspaper, internet, social media, etc.)

·       Acts as a liaison between the dealership and manufacturers’ marketing personnel and leverages manufacturing

marketing resources


Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:

·       Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in marketing required

·       5+ years sales and/or marketing experience

·       Familiar with John Deere and competitive products is preferred but not required

·       Proven with statistical analytic applications and market research practices required

·       Proven ability to lead and inspire others

·       Proven ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and within a group

·       Proven ability to analyze and interpret internal and external marketing reports

·       Proven ability to be creative and innovative preferred
