Remote Litigation Paralegal

Experienced Florida litigation lead paralegal with background in handling all facets of complex and multi-party cases. Construction defect litigation experience a plus. The lead litigation paralegal will be the point person for calendar and case management, organizing the file, preparation of pleadings, motions and discovery, organizing incoming and outgoing document production, and general management, tracking and accountability for the firm's litigation workflow. We are seeking a person who embraces and excels at organization details, critical decision-making, and day-to-day management of assigned files. 


The qualified candidate will be fully-fluent and adept at working with Word, Excel and all of the Microsoft 365 products, and skilled in the use of Adobe document software. Experienced NetDocuments users will go to the top of the list. This is a remote position, so familiarity with communicating via Teams is essential. Prior demonstrated experience in working primarily remotely will be given preference. However, although this will be a remote position, you must be committed to working and being available to our firm's attorneys between 9:30-5:30 each weekday. 


Preference will also be given to Sarasota County-based candidates who can travel to our Osprey office for staff meetings and for occasional special projects requiring in-person collaboration with the firm. You must have recent references who can attest to your experience and capabilities as a remote paralegal.
