Hunter’s Business Development Manager will develop partnerships with internal and external business partners by combining strong business acumen with a passion for the craft of recruiting and a commitment to delivering excellence to candidates and clients alike. Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and create a culture that attracts the right clients to engage with Hunter to provide STEM-focused recruiting services and solutions.
- Work with leadership to design and deploy innovative strategies for targeting and building a client-winning database.
- Outreach to prospective customers through various communications channels – primarily phone.
- Establish strong partnerships following a consultative approach and delivering on commitments.
- Work with the Operations team to prepare, negotiate, and execute client agreements to increase sales.
- Partner with Hunter’s Recruiting and Account Management teams to ensure client relationships are maximized.
- Establish regular communication on business development activities to build a collaborative environment that will drive value at all levels of the organization.
- Meet and exceed defined objectives, goals, and deliverables set by leadership by accurate sales tracking and data entry into the CRM.
Business Development Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Finance, Business, Management or related preferred.
- 5+ years of staffing industry sales experience or B2B sales experience as a proven top performer in fast-paced, mission-driven, and dynamic environments.
- A genuine passion for Hunter’s mission – to connect clients with the best and brightest talent in their industry.
- Ability to build lasting relationships built on Hunter’s core values (Harmony, Integrity, Respect, Excellence) proving excellent communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to negotiate a complex range of terms and structures depending on the need and services offered.
