Job Description
SBS Franchising LLC is currently seeking a Human Resources Payroll Manager.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and other personnel related matters.
- Administer HR programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, morale, and training and development.
- Administer bi-monthly payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely payment to approximately 90 employees using Intuit payroll software.
- Maintain digital files for employee documents.
- Monitor and ensure the organization's compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, review and modify policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Consistently update the HRIS with employee records and maintain compliance with recordkeeping laws.
- Confirm the preparation and submission of comprehensive federal and state quarterly and annual reports, such as 941, W-2, W-3, DE-9.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective employee relations.
- Experience with HRIS systems for managing employee records and payroll processes - currently using BambooHR.
- Ability to conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications effectively.
- Ability to handle all facets of HR including payroll administration & processing, health benefit plan negotiations and administration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
- Knowledge or familiarity of Google Workspace.
Education and Experience
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in processing full cycle payroll in a multi-state environment with exempt and non-exempt employees.
- A minimum of five (5) years of human resource management experience preferred.
- CPP, SHRM-CP or PHR highly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base Salary Range of $85,000 to $95,000 per year to commensurate with experience
