Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field of engineering.
  • At least 5 years of equivalent experience in OT (Operational Technology) / ICS (Industrial Control Systems) / SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) networks.

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with network-based communication and control architectures.
  • Understanding of fiber optic circuits, virtual network connections, and network switches.
  • Proficiency in industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, MODBUS, PROFIBUS, and PROFINET.
  • Ability to develop functional logic for ICS/SCADA systems (e.g., WinCC, PCS 7) for both batch and continuous processes.
  • Knowledge of power fundamentals and voltage control.
  • Experience with substation RTUs (Remote Terminal Units) and protection/control systems.
  • Familiarity with network segmentation and data historians.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage networks, including specifying control system requirements and developing control strategies.
  • Oversee the implementation of process control functional logic and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) execution.
  • Conduct system and factory acceptance testing for new projects and system upgrades.
  • Ensure SCADA networking, cybersecurity, and operational requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with third-party contractors and vendors during controls-related planning and execution.
  • Provide technical support for IT, project engineering, and maintenance teams during commissioning and project implementation.
