The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for a full-time Member Events Coordinator to join our team in support of Sales operations. This individual’s main responsibilities are to plan and execute Member Events in support of the Sales & Membership Department. This individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks including design, organization, communication and planning of events and marketing to and communication with members and guests.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Schedule, market, collect sign ups, plan, execute and bill Member Events (i.e., holiday events, member classes, summer camp and other activities for members)
  • Coordinate and collaborate with outside vendors
  • Communicate with members including but not limited to marketing of events and responding to inquiries
  • Create BEOs to distribute to kitchen, banquet and house staff and responsible for ensuring information is clear and understood by answering questions and fulfilling requests.
  • Responsible for managing the DCC Summer Camp Program, including hiring counselors, setting up camp, planning activities and handling all paperwork for campers and families.
  • Responsible for accurate recording of Member Events costs and revenues in the Northstar system.
  • Responsible for handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Reply to email, telephone or face to face inquiries regarding Member Events
  • Ability to work flexible hours, which can include evenings, weekends and holidays


The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven event planning and marketing experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
