  • Support the NILE PMO in the Engineering activities of the NILE Project, such as software development, software testing and documentation updates, in coordination with the NILE Configuration Manager
  • Support the lead engineer in order to ensure the Link 22 system architecture is up-to-date and well documented in the NILE documentation.
  • Help improve the interoperability of Link 22
  • Drafting contracting documents for NILE products and requirements.
  • Contributing cybersecurity expertise to NILE documents including the Project Security Instruction, Project Management Plan, and CONOPS.
  • Participating in and contributing to the Link 22 Security Working Group (may be asked to chair or co-chair the meeting as required).
  • Reviewing cybersecurity related deliverables from NILE contractors (e.g., ISS vendor, Link 22 training vendor, NIWC, NUWC etc.).
  • Establishing, communicating, and documenting DoD and NAVWAR cybersecurity requirements to be shared with NILE contractors and stakeholders as required.
  • Briefing cybersecurity related topics at NILE, Link 22, and other TDL meetings; and,
  • Providing cybersecurity expertise to the NILE PMO and ISS vendor in relation to the NILE test and evaluation laboratory, including reviewing deliverables and attending meetings.
  • Attend IPT/IPR meetings, and support NILE PMO in relation to cyber security actions.
  • Work with the contractor ISSO on cyber security tasks as defined by NILE PMO


Travel Requirement to travel international at a minimum of 2 times per year (June and December); trip length 7 – 10 days

Schedule

Hybrid-2 days per week (Tuesday and Thursday) onsite.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent) and 2 years of relevant work experience in military classified Communication System.
  • Previous experience in Tactical Data Links is ideal.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • High caliber oral, written, and briefing skills, including the ability to summarize complex, detailed information in a concise, accurate manner both written and verbally.


Salary at Highbury Defense is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,600 to $120,100. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Highbury Defense’s total compensation package for employees.
