This includes gathering and prioritizing requirements for the Product Management, engineering and data management teams and collaborating with other leaders from engineering, marketing, sales, finance, customer service and operations departments. Overall goal is to deliver innovative; value add new products to produce product enhancements aligned with the strategic goals of the business.Job LocationThis is a remote role when not traveling to or at our plantsJob ResponsibilitiesOversee and ensure that the goals and functions of the product development team are efficiently and effectively executedReview and update product development process guidelines to properly manage project deadlinesEnhance career development of product development personnel through coaching, mentoring and guidingEncourage category and process ownership among product development teams, as well as sound and timely decision making and problem solvingEnsure product management team is informed of, and operations/marketing are aligned with, overall company product development strategy and targetsSet product vitality targets based upon company goals and ensure product development roadmaps and product launches align to surpass targetReview product proposals and strategies presented by product management team to ensure plan alignment and effective process timelines are maintainedCommunicate clearly with engineering, marketing, sales and operational personnel to ensure there is an understanding of desired prioritization and expected participation throughout the PM processWork with product managers to ensure costing, pricing and margins are planned in detail, are done in an accurate and timely manner and support the overall strategic goals of the companyAlign with purchasing on all raw material trends and finance/sr. commercial manager to determine price change requirementsSet strategies and partner with product managers to prioritize product timelines to align with business, consumer and market needsMeet with sales, customers and review market research studies to gain a clear understanding of current and future market direction and needsPartner with product managers, sales and brand marketing to develop strategies for successful product implementationOversee market research and competitive product evaluation activity by product development teamResponsible for presenting and promoting all product categories, as needs be, at sales and customer meetingsJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree required in a related business field10 plus years of progressive leadership experience within Product DevelopmentSolid understanding and demonstrated application of disciplined product development processes and financial modelingDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and develop, maintain and, ultimately, hit established deadlinesCritical thinker, a solution focused approach with high level of business acumenProven ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast paced environmentInnate desire to learn about all aspects of the product development processUp to 50% travelCompensationBase salary is $170,000 - $190,000Bonus is 20% - 30% annually401(k) / retirement savings programShort- term and long-term disability benefitsLife insuranceHealth, Dental, and Vision insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
