This is a contract position on W-2 and our Client is looking for a Azure Security Architect.

This is a hybrid role in either Reston, VA or Plano, TX and requires the candidate to go to office 2 days a week.


Must Have

• Expertise in Azure Security with 10+ years of experience in security architecture.

• Self-starter and Senior resource who can lead Azure Security Architecture.

• Drive security controls with common information security standards such as: NIST CSF, SOX, SOC2, FEDRAMP, and CIS Controls.

• Strong background in cyber security controls frameworks and regulatory requirements including NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, CSA CCM, SOX, and Privacy regulations

• Expertise in Azure public cloud, O365, Azure DevOps, Azure cloud native design, microservice architecture, containerization and non-functional requirements

• experience in Azure ARM Template (Terraform or Biceps), PowerShell and Azure Cli


Nice to Have

• Azure Security Engineer Certification, Microsoft Cyber Security Architect Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
