Information Technology Network Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Providing support to both in-office staff and remote working staff. This can be anyone from a field technician, up to senior management.
  • Supports overall information systems planning, implementation, and administration in a variety of IT functional areas.
  • Follows internal procedures and guidelines to troubleshoot and resolve basic IT issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Provides support to end-users, assisting with software and hardware malfunctions, setting up new equipment, and documenting and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Installs and configures software and applies patches or updates to maintain basic IT infrastructure such as servers, workstations, and network devices.
  • Routinely tests and monitors IT system performance to ensure system security and reliability.
  • Travel to remote locations and line out network upgrades with 3rd parties
  • Set up cell boosters and cell APs in remote locations
  • Setting up LEO Com systems in remote locations
  • Responsible for Setting up and maintaining Telemetry systems for remote equipment.


Additional Tasks:

  • Office organization and cleanliness.
  • Collaborating with shipping and receiving to send and receive IT related equipment.
  • Travel to sites to assist with outstanding support items.
  • Track and maintain company assets
  • Line out data bases in company infrastructure

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
  • Poses an active and current driver’s license.
  • Must be willing to travel. Up to 80%
