Position Overview
BCforward’s Product Manager is a key member of our Technology Services team, responsible for maximizing the business effectiveness of the TargetRecruit (Salesforce-based) ATS and related technology applications. The candidate will manage the evolution of product implementation, prioritize the customization backlog, and identify additional products and services complementary to TargetRecruit that will further enable the company’s delivery of business objectives. The ideal candidate is customer-oriented with strong product and project management skills, technical understanding, and personal skills.
The Product Manager will work cross-functionally to guide technology enabled features in the TargetRecruit/Salesforce ecosystem from conception to launch by connecting business needs with technical capabilities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Work independently and with business analysts to understand internal customer needs, validate product designs / prototypes with stakeholders, and to provide clear, concise, and prioritized direction to the SF technology team.
- Translate product strategy into capabilities and manage them from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for release management.
- Maintain and prioritize the product roadmap and backlog.
- Monitor and incorporate data-driven metrics into roadmap planning.
- Oversee all TargetRecruit and related ecosystem projects.
- Maintain proper product and project documentation.
- Ensure completion of all project deliverables and related tasks
- Troubleshoot issues with a hands-on approach.
Required Skills & Experience:
- BS/BA in Business or technology-based discipline.
- 5 years of professional experience, at least 3 as a product manager or similar role
- 2+ years’ experience using and supporting Salesforce-based solutions, preferably in the staffing industry
- Experience with mid-market ERP/ATS applications.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in product roadmap planning and release management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools, especially Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Salesforce Administrator (or comparable Salesforce certification)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
