What you will do

  • Source Suppliers: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery speed. Maintain a supplier database and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Procurement: Process purchase requisitions, review purchase orders, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements throughout the procurement process.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct market research and perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to maintain competitive pricing.
  • Contract Management: Develop and maintain contracts with suppliers, including terms, pricing, and delivery schedules. Regularly review and update contracts to reflect changing business needs and market conditions.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory control teams to optimize inventory levels, track stock availability, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Monitor and forecast demand to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to promote effective communication and collaboration. Resolve any vendor-related issues or disputes promptly.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased products meet established standards. Conduct periodic supplier audits and inspections to maintain quality assurance.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier interactions. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including cost savings, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and new procurement strategies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.



Skills we are excited about

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2-4 years of proven experience as a Purchasing Agent, Buyer, or in a similar procurement role.
  • The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in Stone, Tile, Porcelain, Ceramics, soft surfaces, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
