Finance Manager

We are looking to work with a Finance Manager to steer the financial health of multiple infrastructure budgets specifically starting with the networking team. This person will be responsible for ensuring the projects stay on budget and don’t exceed forecasted spend. They will maintain fiscal discipline across multiple budgets, ensuring that each project aligns with its financial forecast. This person will be required to come onsite to their office in South Jersey 3 days a week - Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
Responsibilities:
- Provides analysis and action planning to help balance capital and operating budgets.
- Analyzes project and portfolio budget projections and spend.
- Prepares financial reporting reconciliation and summary reports as well as breakdown reporting.
- Recommends projection adjustments based on resource run rates, Accounting reclassifications, under and over usage of planned funds / hours.
- Assists Managers with development, updates, and tracking spend for budget and resource projections.
- Disseminates information in a timely fashion at the appropriate level of detail for the target audience.
Must haves:
- 5+ years of experiencing creating/managing budgets and cost plans
- Exceptional analytical skills with a deep knowledge of and mastery of Excel for data analysis and complex formulas.
- Proficient in budget forecasting and knowledge of accounting practices.
- Experience reconciling payments - figuring out what is paid vs not paid
- Knowledge of accounting rules - CAPEX vs OPEX
Compensation:
$55/hr to $60/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
